Mel has always loved everything to do with the theatre, the arts and children. She studied at ArtsEd, one of the top drama schools in the UK, and has performed in many fringe shows, pantomimes and No.1 tours, such as the 39 Steps, Run for your wife, and Naked Flame.

 

She produced, co-directed and performed her own Fringe show, which led to her discovering her abilities for working backstage, including as a Director’s Assistant, ASM, Stage Manager, Tour Manager and Production Manager for numerous London theatre companies, and on a number of different productions. 

 

She has enjoyed working with Rebeca since 2011 and has played a pivotal role in creating Parlon’s productions, in both the UK and Spain. Mel speaks fluent French and is an active mother, living in Farnham with her husband, two daughter and their dog Maxi.
