Rebeca worked for fifteen years as a professional actress in films, TV and theatre, before becoming a writer and director, directing plays that have been performed both nationally in her native Spain, and internationally (thank to her high levels of English).
She has been a professional script editor on scripts that have been optioned, and her own plays have won prestigious awards, including a Community of Madrid development grant.
Her plays have sold out in Madrid's Canal Theatre, along with a slew of other Spanish theatres, and she was invited by the Spanish Consulate to edit and direct a play in Delhi, India.
She recently took part in the Criterion's New Writing program run by Greg Mosse.
Rebeca splits her time between London and Madrid, and has two wonderful young children.
