It was Never about the Money
Barney Edwards, once labelled “the photographer’s photographer” had by the 1980’s become a commercials director in great demand, he lived his success to the full, until he self-destructed on a drug-fuelled ego-trip. This is a tale of extreme highs and lows: of decadence and outrageous excess; of poverty and alienation. It Was Never About The Money is a feature-length story that charts the rise and fall of a man who confesses he became “so outrageously arrogant nobody wanted to go there any more”. Now, after years in the wilderness, he tries to rebuild his career.
This trailer was shot in 2010.
